Jan 2026 ✨ ReflectionHello my Creative Friend, Recently, I’ve been thinking about how one-sided permission can be. We’re often so quick to extend grace to others— It’s okay you’re late. But when it comes to ourselves, that grace disappears. I see this often in the women I love—busy, capable, generous people who apologize for not calling back “in time,” for being late, for not doing "enough". Even when reassured, the guilt lingers. The permission never quite sticks. What if we offered ourselves the same courtesy we so freely give away? What if creativity—small, imperfect, and entirely our own—became a place where we practiced that grace? Lately, one sentence keeps returning to me: This is your permission to finally be yourself, for yourself. Afterall, isn't it time? 🖋️ A Prompt for YouWhen was the last time I created something just to see what would happen? There is no right answer—only honesty. 🎨 Try This Creative MomentAsk one simple question as you create this month: What if…? Change the tool.
